Exploring Minturn’s Vibrant Arts and Culture Scene

Nestled between Vail and Beaver Creek, Minturn, Colorado, boasts a thriving arts and culture scene that reflects its rich history and community spirit. From bustling markets to live music and art events, there’s always something to inspire residents and visitors alike.

Minturn Market: A Hub for Local Artisans

Every Saturday from late June through early September, the historic downtown transforms into the Minturn Market, a family-friendly artisan market. Here, visitors can explore a variety of local products, including fresh produce, baked goods, art, pottery, clothing, jewelry, and pet products. The market also features live music, art demonstrations, whisky and wine tastings, and a Kids Zone with activities like a climbing wall, bounce house, and face painting. The market is dog-friendly, but please keep your furry friends leashed. The Market is proud to be a Zero Waste event, with help from Walking Mountains Sustainability. Summer Concert Series at Little Beach Park

Thursday evenings come alive with the sounds of the Minturn Summer Concert Series at Little Beach Park. This free outdoor event showcases a diverse lineup of musicians, offering genres from rock to jazz. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics or enjoy takeout from local restaurants. The event is BYOB (no glass containers, please), and leashed dogs are welcome. For the latest lineup and additional details, visit the Minturn Community Fund’s website.

First Friday Art Walks

On the first Friday of each month, Minturn’s art galleries and local businesses open their doors for the First Friday Art Walks. These evenings feature art exhibitions, live music, and opportunities to meet local artists. It’s a wonderful way to experience the town’s creative community and support local talent. For upcoming events and participating venues, check the Town of Minturn’s events calendar.

Minturn’s commitment to arts and culture is evident in these events and more. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, there’s always something new to discover in this vibrant community.
